MECHANIC/HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
The Town of Easton is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Equipment Operator/Truck Driver with the Highway Department. Applicants must have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent, be in good physical condition and hold a clean Class B motor vehicle license. Experience in snow plowing and removal, truck maintenance, and equipment operation is beneficial.
The position is full time and includes weekend work and overtime during the snow plowing season. The successful applicant will be required to submit to a background check and drug and alcohol test. Pay is $24.00 per hour with 2 weeks a year vacation and 100% health insurance for employee and 50% for family. The Town also offers enrollment in a 457 retirement plan with a 3% matching contribution.
