Prestile Community Park Project

UPDATE!!! We have received final approval from the National Parks Service for the Prestile Park Project. A project agreement between Easton and the State should be fully executed soon and then we can start work!

We will keep you posted on our progress. Thank you for your patience Easton!

The Prestile Community Park Committee thanks you for your continued support in making the Prestile Committee Park Project a success. Your donations and participation will improve recreation opportunities for our residents, as well as provide something for our neighboring communities to enjoy.

The Park plans include:
• Playground equipment
• Kitchenette area
• Handicap accessible bathrooms
• Large canopy area to seat approximately 30
• 2 smaller picnic tables areas with canopy to seat 8 each
• Larger grill & 2 smaller grills to accommodate larger groups and private diners

The members of the Prestile Community Park Committee are excited to announce we have secured $139,214.50, half our funding for our project, from the Land and Water Conservation Fund/Grant. We have also secured approximately $49,695.50 by use of in-kind services and $91,273.81 in monetary donations. Although we have reached our monetary goal, any additional funds we receive will be used to cover any gaps from in-kind service and for future maintenance of the park. All park money is in its own designated account.
