Animal Control Officer Wanted

The Town of Easton is looking for an Animal Control Officer. Duties are performed on an on-call basis and include: responding to complaints, conducting patrols, and the capture and transportation of stray animals. Requirements of work: knowledge of laws and procedures pertaining to the general care and control of dogs, or the ability to acquire such knowledge and ability to deal courteously with the public. Successful applicant will be required to become certified by the State of Maine as an Animal Control Officer. This position is paid with a yearly stipend.
